Inside Sales Representative

To accommodate this growth and to create the ultimate hi-tech work environment, Gemvision is currently developing a 30,000 square foot facility in the burgeoning downtown of Moline, IL.

Position Overview
Full time position available with health benefits, retirement plan, and paid vacation/sick leave working at Gemvision's Davenport, Iowa facility and later at the Moline, IL facility. In the role of Gemvision Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team by generating new accounts and assisting in developing existing ones within the jewelry industry. This will include extensive outgoing phone calls and cold calling. Any experience in the jewelry industry is a substantial plus. Ongoing sales and product training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect, cold call and develop new accounts for sales team
  • Participate in outgoing phone calls and telemarketing campaigns
  • Manage and report all appointment activity and sales calls
  • Provide initial consultation/education to customers regarding the problem-solving and profit generating benefits of Gemvision products.
  • Work to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Work with internal advertising department to help develop successful advertising
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge 
Requirements
  • Completed University or College Degree (Business focus preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year sales experience required with a reseller, vendor or distributor
  • Business development experience
  • Exceptional phone sales and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of both software licensing and specialized hardware products
  • Passion for technology industry and a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Proficient use of ACT! or similar database and/or contact management software
