Technology Sales Representative

Position Overview
Full time position available with base salary plus commission, health benefits, retirement plan, and paid vacation/sick leave working at Gemvision's Quad Cities based facility. In the role of Gemvision Sales Representative, you will be responsible for increasing Gemvision revenue by generating new accounts and developing existing ones within the jewelry industry, to include both retailers and manufacturers. Any experience in the jewelry industry is a substantial plus. Extensive travel is required. Ongoing sales and product training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, cold call and develop new accounts in a protected geographic region
- Manage and report all appointment activity and sales calls
- Provide consultation/education to customers regarding the problem-solving and profit generating benefits of Gemvision products
- Present and market Gemvision’s industry-recognized customer oriented sales and technical support model, to include attendance at regional trade shows
- Work to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
- Work with internal advertising department to help develop successful advertising
- Keep updated on product and industry knowledge
Requirements
- Completed University or College Degree (Business focus preferred)
- Minimum 1 year outside sales experience required with a reseller, vendor or distributor
- Business development experience
- Knowledge of both software licensing and specialized hardware products
- Passion for technology industry and a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic learner with proven track record of meeting & exceeding sales goals
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Proficient use of Surado or similar database and/or contact management software
