Standard Upgrade Policy Updated June 21, 2007
Gemvision Corp offers one free major software upgrade with each software purchase along with any patches and/or minor improvements that may be necessary. After Gemvision Corp supplies one free upgrade, there will be subsequent software upgrades with pricing to be set by Gemvision Corp at the time of release. Purchaser may opt to “skip” an upgrade and later purchase the next or subsequent upgrade at the current upgrade price with out penalty of any sort and still be assured of having all previous upgrade features included in current upgrade. ALL RHINO or RELATED software upgrades are the sole responsibility of the PURCHASER and are NOT included as free upgrades in ANY case from Gemvision Corp.

Matrix 5.4 to 6.0 Upgrade Policy Pricing Effective January 1, 2007
Customers, those who purchased Matrix originally from Gemvision, who are NOT eligible for 5.4 as part of their initial investment and want to purchase the Matrix 5.4 upgrade, may do so at the cost of $695.00 plus shipping (NOT including Rhino 4.0 or Technical Support). In the event the client then chooses to purchase Matrix Version 6.0 when it is released will have the full $695.00 Matrix 5.4 upgrade investment credited towards the final cost of Matrix Version 6.0. This cost does NOT include Rhino 4.0 upgrade which must be purchased for the additional price of $395.00. (or NEW price Rhino 4.0 and Flamingo for $1490)

• If Technical Support is not in place, the customer may also purchase one year of Technical Support at the cost of $395.00.
• Training and shipping are at an additional cost and the final cost of Matrix version 6.0 has not been determined at this time.

Matrix 4.0 to 5.4 Upgrade Policy Updated June 21, 2007

No Charge Customer Qualifications - Customers who purchased the upgrade from Matrix 4.0 to Matrix 5.4 and whose original ship date was 9/1/2004 to current will receive the Matrix 5.4 as part of the upgrade purchase. This upgrade is the Matrix software upgrade ONLY. The customer is responsible for and must purchase any Rhino or Flamingo upgrades.

Matrix 5 upgrade included:

• Matrix 5.0
• Matrix 5.3 (running on Rhino 3)
• Matrix 5.4 (running on Rhino 4)

Purchased Upgrades
Customers who purchased the Matrix 5 upgrade at a special bundled package price for $1295.00 (through December 31, 2006) will receive the following items:

• Rhino 4
• Matrix 5.0
• Matrix 5.3
• Matrix 5.4 (and all updates up to but not including the release of Matrix 6.0)

Matrix Secondary Software Purchase Updated June 21, 2007
Effective immediately we require the trade-in of the purple dongle in order for second party key purchasers to have a discounted “New Customer” price when purchasing Matrix from Gemvision for the first time. Transfer of Ownership letter for second party Matrix key purchases is no longer required or accepted. The dongle will be verified as a legitimate Matrix key and the customer will be given trade-in credit for it.

Once the second party Matrix owners pay the $3495.00 plus shipping to Gemvision for current Matrix software, then they will be on the regularly scheduled upgrade plan.

Upgrade pricing for first time Gemvision customers who own keys purchased from the secondary market is as follows:

Trade-In of Purple Dongle Pricing:

• Matrix - $3495.00 + shipping
• Purple Dongle received and verified Credit
• One Year Technical Support - $395.00*
• Cost of Rhino and Flamingo - $1150.00 (second key purchase pricing) or $1490 (New purchase pricing)
• Training per person $1350.00 (cost per person for the first two people)
• Training each additional person $675.00 (third + person each)

NO Purple Dongle Trade:

• New Customer Price of Matrix, $6700

*NOTE: Technical Support is not applicable until the current version of Matrix has been purchased at which time one year of technical support will be available for $395 per year.

Matrix Purple Dongle Discontinuation Policy Updated August 1, 2007
Gemvision no longer has available for replacement purchase purple dongle software keys (also known as Sentinel Key or Rainbow Key) These Matrix version 5.3 and below keys have been discontinued and are not available. If you have a damaged key you will be required to upgrade to our current software version, Matrix 5.4, with the new online/ offline license code activation. This may require an upgrade purchase each for Matrix and Rhino 4.0.

ClayTools to ClayTrix Upgrade Policy Updated July 1, 2007
Current ClayTools customers who wish to purchase the upgrade to ClayTrix can do so at the price of $799.00. This applies to customers who have purchase ClayTools directly from Gemvision or through second parties.

Digital Goldsmith Secondary Software Purchase Updated June 21, 2007

Current Digital Goldsmith Customers Upgrading to DG 5 Pro System Requirement Change Updated June 21, 2007
Digital Goldsmith 5 Pro system requirements have changed. DG 5 Pro is now required to run on Windows 2000 Operating System (OS) Service Pack 6 and above. (No Windows 98) This may require hardware upgrades to accommodate the system requirements. Please note that capture cards in Windows Vista are not guaranteed to operate.

DG 5 Standard’s system requirements remain the same with the ability to operate on Windows 98 OS through Windows XP OS.

SystemSix Standard to HD Camera Head Upgrade Policy Updated June 21, 2007
Any existing customer that owns a Standard System Six can upgrade to the new SystemSix HD Camera Head with the following purchase price and requirements:

• $1295 upgrade cost
• Return of old Standard Camera Head (Or payment of equivalent- $895)
• Shipping costs

The HD Camera Head Upgrade includes cost of $1295.00 + Exchange of the old Standard Camera Head (Or pay equivalent) + Shipping.

Gemvision will ship the HD Camera Head out as soon as the $1295.00 + shipping payment is received. A second invoice for the cost of the exchanged Standard Camera Head ($895) will be mailed immediately and voided when the old Standard Head is received within 20 days. The second invoice will be credited once the Standard Camera Head is returned.
