Standard Upgrade Policy Updated June 21, 2007
Gemvision offers one free major software upgrade with each software purchase along with any patches and/or minor improvements that may be necessary. After Gemvision supplies one free upgrade, there will be subsequent software upgrades with pricing to be set by Gemvision at the time of release. Purchaser may opt to “skip” an upgrade and later purchase the next or subsequent upgrade at the current upgrade price with out penalty of any sort and still be assured of having all previous upgrade features included in current upgrade. ALL RHINO or RELATED software upgrades are the sole responsibility of the PURCHASER and are NOT included as free upgrades in ANY case from Gemvision.

Matrix Version 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.3, 5.4 to 6 Upgrade Policy Pricing Effective April 28, 2009
Customers, those who purchased Matrix originally from Gemvision, who are NOT eligible for Matrix 6 as part of their initial investment and want to purchase the Matrix 6 upgrade, may do so at the cost of $599.00 plus shipping (NOT including Rhino 4.0 or Technical Support.) This cost does NOT include Rhino 4.0 upgrade which must be purchased for the additional price of $395.00 (or NEW price Rhino 4.0, $995.)
- If Technical Support is not in place, the customer may also purchase one year of Technical Support at the cost of $395.00.
- Training and shipping are at an additional cost.
Matrix Secondary Software Purchase Updated November 24, 2008
Effective immediately we require the trade-in of the purple dongle in order for second party key purchasers to have a discounted “New Customer” price when purchasing Matrix from Gemvision for the first time. Transfer of Ownership letter for second party Matrix key purchases is required. The dongle will be verified as a legitimate Matrix key and the customer will be given trade- in credit for it.
Once the second party Matrix owners pay the $3495.00 plus shipping to Gemvision for current Matrix software, then they will be on the regularly scheduled upgrade plan.
Upgrade pricing for first time Gemvision customers who own keys purchased from the secondary market is as follows:
Trade-In of Purple Dongle Pricing:
- Matrix - $3495.00 + shipping
- Purple Dongle received and verified Credit
- One Year Technical Support - $395.00 **See NOTE**
- Cost of Rhino - $995.00
- Training per person $1350.00 (cost per person for the first two people)
- Training each additional person $695.00 (third + person each)
NO Purple Dongle Trade:
- New Customer Price of Matrix, $6700
*NOTE: Technical Support is not applicable until the current version of Matrix has been purchased at which time one year of technical support will be available for $395 per year.
Matrix Purple Dongle Discontinuation Policy Updated November 24, 2008
Gemvision no longer has available for replacement purchase purple dongle software keys (also known as Sentinel Key or Rainbow Key.) These Matrix version 5.3 and below keys have been discontinued and are not available. If you have a damaged key you will be required to upgrade to our current software version, Matrix 6. This may require an upgrade purchase each for Matrix and Rhino 4.0.

Digital Goldsmith 5 Standard Customers Upgrading to DG Design Studio System Requirement Change

DG Design Studio is required to run on Windows 2000 Operating System (OS) Service Pack 6 and above (Windows XP and Vista). DG Design Studio will not run on Windows 98. This may require hardware upgrades to accommodate the system requirements. Please note that capture cards in Windows Vista are not guaranteed to operate. DG 5 Standard’s system requirements remain the same with the ability to operate on Windows 98 Operating System through Windows XP Operating System.

SystemSix Standard to HD Camera Head Upgrade Policy Updated June 21, 2007
Any existing customer that owns a Standard System Six can upgrade to the new SystemSix HD Camera Head with the following purchase price and requirements:
- $1295 upgrade cost
- Return of old Standard Camera Head (Or payment of equivalent- $895)
- Shipping costs
The HD Camera Head Upgrade includes cost of $1295.00 + Exchange of the old Standard Camera Head (Or pay equivalent) + Shipping.
Gemvision will ship the HD Camera Head out as soon as the $1295.00 + shipping payment is received. A second invoice for the cost of the exchanged Standard Camera Head ($895) will be mailed immediately and voided when the old Standard Head is received within 20 days. The second invoice will be credited once the Standard Camera Head is returned.

Training Cancellation Policy Updated November 24, 2008
In order to maximize the effectiveness of our training classes, Gemvision limits the number of attendees per class. Registrants who have been confirmed for a specific training class may reschedule or cancel their class reservations without penalty up to five (5) days prior to the scheduled class start date either by calling Shelly Ellis at 800.357.6272 ext 104 or by email at darren@gemvision.com. Any scheduled training class that is cancelled after the five (5) day deadline will be subject to a $250.00 cancellation fee. Any non-paid, no-shows that have registered for a training class by phone, mail, email or fax will be billed at the full training cost.
Gemvision reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any training class upon a ten (10) day business notice to all confirmed registrants. Registrants may then reschedule into an upcoming training class or cancel the registration without penalty. The client understands and agrees that Gemvision shall not, in any way, be held responsible for any cost, including airfare, transportation cost, hotel expenses or other cost that the client may suffer in the event that Gemvision cancels or reschedules a class.

Revo Warranty Exchange Program (RWEP) Updated August 12, 2010
The following represents the policy regarding this program:
Price with documented training: $975.00 per year per machine providing the company purchasing has taken Revo basic training. Please note however; the price goes to $1,175.00 if the RWEP is purchased two (2) or more months after warranty expiration and providing the company purchasing has taken Revo basic training.
Price without documented training: $1,670.00 per year per machine if the company purchasing has NEVER taken Revo basic training. Please note however; the price goes to $1,870.00 if the RWEP is purchased two (2) or more months after warranty expiration and if the company purchasing has NEVER taken Revo basic training.
Customer Eligibility: Immediately on or slightly before the date their original purchase warranty expires. Any Revo540 unit with a lapse in RWEP coverage of more than 18 months will not be eligible for the RWEP unless it is first certified at Gemvision headquarters. The cost of certification is currently $1,995.00 plus a) the cost of any parts that fall outside of the certification process and b) all freight charges. Once the Revo540 unit is certified it will then be eligible for the RWEP at the current price without the 2 month lapse penalty.
Coverage Type: This exchange program only covers damages or failures resulting from manufacturer’s defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of RWEP purchase and does not cover misuse, abuse, accident, or acts of nature or terrorism.
Parts Covered: All Revo 540 Parts
Labor Exclusion: The RWEP is a part exchange program. If the damaged or failed part requires specialized installation whether on-site or in-house, any labor, travel or freight required is not covered under this program. Specialized installation charge is $500.00 per day plus all related travel and freight expenses.
Exchange System Policy: The RWEP is a part exchange program. If a Revo 540 part fails in accordance with the Coverage Type above, then Gemvision will ship the customer a replacement part at no cost, providing the defective part is returned to us within twenty (20) days of the replacement part shipping date. This exchange part may be new or reconditioned and is solely dependent on what is in stock. There will be no special requests accepted for new or reconditioned parts. Ground shipping is included in the annual price and any type of freight or expedited shipping will be charged at the time of shipment. Customer is always responsible for the return shipment of the failed part, both in terms of shipping and insurance.

Certified Pre-Owned Revo Mill Program (CPO) Updated August 25, 2010
This program is designed with the Seller and Buyer in mind. Through this program, Gemvision will assist in the sale and
purchase of pre-owned Revo mills. By purchasing the CPO Revo mill program, the Seller is able to capture a premium price in the preowned Revo mill market and the Buyer is then assured the Revo machine should perform as advertised and Gemvision backs these CPO Revo machines with a 6 month factory warranty. The additional peace of mind that comes with buying a certified pre-owned Revo mill doesn't come free, as CPO Revo mills typically cost more than non-CPO Revo mills. Revo mills that go through Gemvision's certified pre-owned program are considered the upper echelon of pre-owned Revo mills. This factory-backed CPO program puts the Revo mill through a number of valuable services and a thorough inspection process.
