Technology
The Perfactory3 creates 3D resin models by projecting a sequence of digital masks onto a photo curable polymer utilizing Texas Instruments’ DLP (Digital Light Process) chip which allows for high build speeds with excellent reproduction of detail and unparalleled reliability.
Ease of Use
The compact and mobile Perfactory is designed to connect directly to a PC workstation or integrate into a network. System installation, operation, and maintenance is as easy as using a desktop printer. Its small footprint is only 18” x 31” x 18” (L x H x D), and it weighs just 55 lbs.
Maintenance
Minimal moving parts make for maximum performance and minimal maintenance. Routine maintenance is easily performed.
Castable Resin
While there are other wax-based materials on the market, they tend to be far more brittle and harder to finish when compared with the models built on the Perfactory system using the PIC-100 resin. The PIC-100 liquid photopolymer is suitable for secondary operations such as sanding and polishing. The resin melts into a liquid wax-like material during investment casting without the need for any high temperature burnout cycles. Although the casting process is not identical to that used for wax, the burnout and casting techniques required also work well for traditional wax.
Training & Support
Gemvision provides thorough training and support for your Perfactory3 DT System. The system offers easy-to-learn processes and model set-up.
Cost
The Perfactory3 DT System is cost effective to purchase and operate. The cost includes everything you need, from training and a year’s worth of support, to materials and shipping costs. Minimal consumable components make this a low-cost, high output solution ($3.00-$4.00 per model in consumables).
